Thank you for participating in the poll. We'd like you to join us in two coming events on March 29 and March 30. We are looking forward to have you join us in these events.

    Saturday, March 29: 14:00pm Shanghai Children's Medical Center---Heart Center
Sunday, March 30, 09:4oam Cerecare Wellness Center

To participate in the two events, you need to register for "Hands on Shanghai".

    Here are the simple steps:
Step 1: Go to “Hands on Shanghai” website.
    http://www.handsonshanghai.org/
Click “English” on the upper right corner of the page if the site is in Chinese.

Step 2: Click create a new account.
Fill in your personal information and check the areas you are interested in assisting.

    Step 3: Login in
Go back to login page and sign in.

    Step 4: Go to “Calendar”
Scroll down to register for the events on March 29 and 30.

Please send me a message on English Life site if you need any help or assistance for registration. Please make sure the time you registered does not conflict with your teaching schedules.

Further details about meeting times and transportation for Pacican teachers will be announced shortly after we start to receive registrations for either event.

Rach... as our resident Charity Officer I was wonder if you know of anywhere that I can donate my old clothes? Back home I would regularly drop bin bags full of clothes into charity shops, but since living in Shanghai I haven't been able to find anywhere suitable. I know BEAN have done clothes swaps before but that's not really what I'm looking for.

I am sure that I am not the only one working for Pacican who has a couple of bags full of clothes that they no wear and would like to see a less fortunate persons benefit from. Do you think that it would be possible for us (Pacican) to collect unwanted clothes that are in decent condition and then donate them to a homeless charity or the YMCA, YWCA or something?

If this is something that can be done I would be more than happy to help you sort it out.

Hey Susan! Thanks very much! As some of your members & teachers begin preparing to return home for the summer, we'll definitely make sure to let them know about this opportunity to help out! Thanks very much for allowing us to work with your charity!
